Hi, my name is Renata. I'm a project manager and fastly extending my skills to become a Web Developer. I live in South Staffordshire, between countryside and motorways. I love to work with musicians, artists and creatives to help them produce online content, marketing action plans and their online bases (websites, copy-writing, social media, facebook campaigns).
In 2012, I wrote a successful arts council bid and was awarded funding to create a bespoke festival. I directed the festival, enlisting support from some of the Midlands most talented producers (Digital Artist Adam Guy for We Make Art, Sam Groves film programmer and Artist and Producer Antonio Roberts)
We staged interventions in Wolverhampton city centre; by means of large scale projections, model making workshops and film screenings plus exhibitions in unusual places. The after party included live performances by musicians, digital artists and Illustrators.
The festival also involved support for young animators from around the world by screening their short films in an independent cinema space and hosting talks from some great industry representatives including Johnny Hardstaff and Cyriak Harris.

In 2014 and 2015, I was tasked with assisting the artist and musician My Autumn Empire, to produce artwork to promote their latest release. The project has involved web design, video production, artwork creation and copy-writing.
My photography (above) made it onto the front cover of ‘The Visitation’, and features on the inside sleeve of 'Dreams of Death and Other Favourites'.
I took the lead on press for the later release and secured a 5* print review of 'Dreams of Death and Other Favourites' in Shingdig! Magazine.

I'm currently updating my knowledge in the area of web development, a subject I first started to learn many years ago when I gained a degree in Computer Studies. The entire course helped shape the way I logically think about project management – but at the time (2004) it lacked the visual artistry I love and hope to pursue.
I have created a site for a local cafe who support local community activities, and plan on working with other non-profits/community groups in my local area.
I'm also currently working on a major development for a local record label Wayside & Woodland Recordings, this project will involve wordpress, spotify and the limitedrun platform for selling merchandise.
Here's the latest website.
